10 Ways to Participate

1. Change your profile picture for the day!

Post a photo of the book as your Facebook profile photo. It can be a photo of you with the book, the book with your pet, the book in your home or studio, next to a sign that tells us where you live or one of your favorite haunts, or maybe propped in an unusual spot or simply just the book…you get the idea!

OR use this badge as your profile photo for the day:

(Right-click (Ctrl for MAC users) on the image to save it to your computer first.)

When you post your photo add a caption. Tell your friends about the book and invite them to the party using the party link.

2. Post a mandala (or two or three…) that you created inspired by the book.

On Sunday during the party, post to the party wall mandalas that you’ve created inspired by the book. Tell us the page number or chapter, materials you used, or any other details.

If your book hasn’t arrived yet, or if you haven’t ordered one, you may download the first chapter, HERE.

3. Write an Amazon Review.

After you’ve had a chance to read through the book, write a review on Amazon. I’ll be spotlighting some of the reviews during the party. It takes 1 -2 days before the reviews appear on the page so I suggest posting them by Thursday if you can.

Post your review here: http://amzn.to/27nwA1o

4. Invite your friends.

Let’s spread the word about this party! On the party page you’ll see an INVITE button at the top. Click there and invite up to 500 people to the party.

5. Party Food!

Join me for a toast at the end of the day. I’ll be broadcasting live on Facebook at 6:00 PM, EST.

PLAY WITH YOUR FOOD: Design mandalas with your food. Maybe you’ll arrange some fruit, decorate a cookie or cupcake, buy or make Pizelles, arrange a salad or pizza. You get the idea.

Photograph your celebratory food and post it with a congratulatory note during the party. Don’t forget to use the hashtag #mandalaguidebook.

6. Party Accessories!

DESIGN SOME PARTY ACCESSORIES: Decorate a mug or glass with mandalas, perfect for toasting! Design a banner or party sign.

Tips for decorating glassware:

Photograph your party accessories and post it with a congratulatory note during the party. Don’t forget to use the hashtag #mandalaguidebook.

7. Record a congratulatory video.

I would LOVE to hear and see you! There are so many ways to record video and it has never been easier. Facebook now allows you to record video from your phone. See how HERE. In your video you may show us the book, your mandalas, toast with a glass (perhaps decorated with mandalas), or maybe show us your party food (any or all of these ideas that you like).

Be sure to tag me and use the hashtag #mandalaguidebook.

If we are not already friends on Facebook, let’s change that! Find me here: www.facebook.com/collagediva

8. Color the “Birds of a Feather” mandala.

This week’s featured coloring page in the Sharing Circle is titled, “Birds of a Feather” by Tammy Murdock. It will be one of the free downloads made available to party goers. Color and scan it and post it on Facebook during the party.

Get the coloring page in the Mandala Guidebook Launch Party Planner.

9. Host a Mandala Party of Your Own.

Invite family and friends over to your house and teach them how to make mandalas. Show them your copy of the book or view one of my videos together. Post photos of your party during the launch party with greetings from your family and friends. As a group record a congratulatory video (see idea #7).

10. Watch Videos, Post Your Mandalas, Enter Giveaways.

Throughout the party there will be videos, posts, and giveaways.

LIVE BROADCASTS:

11 a.m. EST – Opening Video. Join me for a cuppa tea or coffee as I open up the party. I’ll share details about the days events and we can chat live.

6 p.m. EST – Final Toast Video. We’ll wrap up the festivities with a live video. Bring your glass filled with your favorite drink and we’ll celebrate in style.

POSTS:

Throughout the event join me and other mandala enthusiasts from around the world as we celebrate the book and our love for making mandalas. Post your mandalas inspired by the book. Share photos or videos of your celebratory glassware, food, and party decorations.

ENTER GIVEAWAYS:

So far I have a couple of people who will be posting to their websites a review of my book and offering giveaways. Watch for details throughout the party event.

REMEMBER TO LIKE, COMMENT, & SHARE:

Every like, comment, and share helps to make for a successful event. It also spreads the love. Each person who posts a mandala or photo is putting themselves out there. Let’s show the world just how lovely our mandala community truly is!

As always, I’m open to YOUR ideas. I’ll be pulling together some posts that I’ll sprinkle throughout the event. If you can’t attend live, know that you can catch recordings of the live broadcasts and post after the party has officially ended. Who knows? Maybe the event will continue for days?

Thank you all for you enthusiasm for the book and sharing your love for mandalas!

{soul hugs}
