Creating Mandalas at the Rowe Center

Imagine an entire weekend dedicated to creating mandala art. The projects in this weekend are centered around reflecting back on the past year to celebrate and honor the many unexpected blessings and surprises. It’s a great time to release old energies to make way for new beginnings.

Creating Mandala Art for the Harvest Time

WHEN: October 2-4, 2020
WHERE: Rowe Center, Rowe, MA
WHO: Kathryn Costa, Your Guide to Soulful & Creative Living

Join Kathryn as she guides you in creating art based on sacred geometry, labyrinths, and nature! Experience the joy of creating your own mandala art for relaxation, insight, and self-expression.

The fall is a wonderful time of the harvest — and a time to reflect on your personal harvests, those blessings from the year thus far. During this weekend of making mandala art, you’ll have space to access your inner intuitive artist and create something uniquely yours. The mandala, Sanskrit for “circle,” is a beautiful container for adding color and patterns, but creating mandalas is so much more than making pretty pictures; when you step before the circle you get centered, immersed in beauty. You slow down and listen to your intuition and inner wise self. This creating and connecting lead to deep insights and answers. Creating mandalas, combined with guided “soul journey” meditations, journal writing, setting intentions and using affirmations — with plenty of time to slip into the creative zone — is a powerful practice. You’ll go home with completed artwork and practical tips for continuing your mandala practice long after the weekend.

For all levels. Beginners welcome — no drawing experience necessary. All tools and supplies provided.

Project Highlights Include:

  • Seed of Life Mandala based on sacred geometry.
